DIY home security – easy to install

LockLatch® fits any type of window or door, wood, metal, aluminium or PVC and can be installed whichever way it opens.

All you’ll need is a drill and a screwdriver or pop rivet gun.

(when using one way screws)

1. Remove the backing tape from the double sided tape on the bottom of each footplate.
2. Position the LockLatch® on the frame using the double sided tape to help you. If you need to drill into masonry use plastic wall plugs.
3. Check that the window or door opens and closes and that the LockLatch® fits, locks and unlocks and the gap adjusts as required. The purpose of the tape is to get the position and action right before marking and drilling the holes.
4. Mark the position for the holes
5. Remove the LockLatch®
6. Drill four pilot holes
7. Reposition the LockLatch®
8. Insert the four one-way screws
9. Done and secured!

(when using pop rivets)

6. Drill four 5mm holes for the pop rivets
7. Reposition the LockLatch®
8. Insert the pop-rivets
9. Done and secured!
