Shop Playpens is an online store in the baby and pet industry.
Agreement of Sale
An agreement of sale between Shop Playpens and a customer is only valid once payment has been made and the company receives proof of payment. Up until this point all goods remain the property of Shop Playpens.
Delivery Policy
Subject to availability and receipt of payment, orders will be processed within one working day, unless otherwise stipulated on a specific product that might need manufacturing due to custom sizes.
All orders are dispatched via courier services or international air mail. A delivery being delayed is not grounds for return or refund.
You accept that in order for us to prove delivery of an order, we do not have to prove that you personally received the goods, but rather that any person at the delivery address signed for the delivery.
Customer Privacy Policy
Shop Playpens shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA).
Shop Playpens respect your privacy. Payment Options Accepted
Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard and American Express credit cards or by bank transfer or cash deposit into the Shop Playpens bank account, the details of which will be provided during the checkout process.

Credit card transactions will be acquired for Shop Playpens via PayFast Virtual Card Services who use the strictest forms of encryption.
Customer Details Separate from Card Details

Product Warranty
All products received must be checked and inspected within 24 hours of receiving the product. If any manufacturing faults are found on the product, the situation will be investigated. If the damage was determined to be the manufactures fault the product will be replaced if necessary or the part that was damaged will be replaced. If any products are damaged by the client, Shop Playpens will not take responsibility of the damage. Shop Playpens will help replace the part on the clients own costs. If clients only insects the product after 7 days of receiving the product, Shop Playpens will investigate the situation and make a decision accordingly. After 7 days the product is seen as a second hand product and can not be replaced by Shop Playpens.
Reasonableness
By using this website, you agree that the exclusions and limitations of liability set out in this website disclaimer are reasonable.
If you do not think they are reasonable, you must not use this website.
Other parties
You accept that, as a limited liability entity, Shop Playpens has an interest in limiting the personal liability of its officers and employees. Usage
Please follow the guide included in the instruction booklet included with your product. Please only use the products for its intended purpose. Please stop using the cots as soon as your baby is able to sit up unaided, kneel, pull themselves up or crawl. Shop Playpens do not take any responsibility for any child or pet. Children that can lift themselves can not be left alone in a cot and should be supervised by an Adult. Insure that all screws are tight before use. Test product before use.
Assembly
Products comes with instructions and safety warnings and should be followed as stated. Shop Playpens will not take any responsibility any damage done by assembling or using the products wrong. If damage was done on the plastic or wood by hitting it with a hammer to hard (for instance) Shop Playpens will not be held responsible.
Collection / delivery
Shop Playpens can deliver the product ordered at an extra cost. Costing on this will be on the invoice. Delivery changes are subject to change and can be more that originally quoted. Shop Playpens can not be held responsible for any damage to your product as soon as the product is collected by the courier company. DSV, TCG, Primetime and WOW couriers are Shop Playpens courier service and we do not take responsibility on behalf of any of these 3rd party companies. Shop Playpens will stipulate if you want insurance on your product for delivery. If insurance is included and any damage was done to the product, the products will be replaced by the courier company. The time period for this will determine on the investigation. If no insurance was take the client carry full responsibility for the product. In the case where only one part was damaged, the client can send back the part and it will be repaired and repainted at own cost.
Product material
Treat our products with care. It is built to last but needs to be used only for its intended purpose. Do not tilt, slide, push the product. Weight limit is 15kg on all cots.
Liability
Shop Playpens liability is governed by South African law. Shop Playpens is not liable for any loss, damage, injury or death. Products must not be used for babies once they are able to sit up unaided, kneel, pull themselves up or crawl.
Law and jurisdiction
These terms and conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with South African governing law, and any disputes relating to these terms and conditions will be subject to the [non-]exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of jurisdiction.
